Shipping the first version of EasyEntry was mostly about restraint.
I had dozens of features I could build, but the launch target was simple:
- Upload many PDFs at once.
- Define custom fields per document type.
- Review output quickly and export in one click.
The quality loop
The data extraction loop had to be visible and correctable:
- Parse uploaded document.
- Return structured fields.
- Show data and make edits fast.
- Feed edits back into the extraction workflow.
That loop matters more than any flashy dashboard.
